SG used Trash Bash on March 27, 2004 to begin cleaning the
shoreline of our newly-acquired Virginia Point Peninsula Preserve. We had a
great day!
We are greatly indebted to CenterPoint, our sponsor, and the 200+ enthusiastic volunteers who worked tirelessly to fill up three large dumpsters and create several huge wood piles. Thanks again to CenterPoint for the excellent barbecue lunch - and the wonderful trash grabber tools, which saved many backs. Thanks also to the Trash Bash organization, which provided dumpsters, toilets, bags, gloves, and ice. |
